How to install vim on Solus OS ? [with screenshots]
Installing vim in Solus OS is very simple:
$ sudo eopkg install vim

If you need coding and developments tools in Solus OS, you can install all the basic programming tools running following commands:
$ sudo eopkg it -c system.devel
If you want to know the version of make program in your Solus OS Linux or just to check, if make is installed, you can easily do it with running follow command in terminal :
$ make --version
In my case I got this output:
GNU Make 4.3
Built for x86_64-solus-linux-gnu

Unpacking .tar.gz archive in Solus OS is the same like in other linux systems, because Solus OS alread has pre-installed tar-archive-unpacking program.
Let's say we've downloaded source-code of NetSurf internet browser:
First of all, we have to ensure, that git is not istalled:
$ git --version
Solus OS has it's own package manager for installing and uninstalling programs: eopkg.
