All you need to to is to run following commands in your terminal

How to remove (uninstall) simple-scan app from Linux Lite (Ubuntu)?

If you dont' need simple-scan application (known as "Scanner" app in your main menu) in your system, you can easily remove it by running a following command:

$ sudo apt purge simple-scan

If you plan to install one of the most popular server on your system (Apache2), you should start with running a command:

$ sudo apt-get install apache2

How to install qBittorrent on Linux Lite?

Linux Lite is using standard Ubuntu repositories, and qBittorrent is not part of it. So we have to add additional repository and then install qBittorrent client from it.

Adding qBittorrent repository

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable
